This week, we held a new physical meeting of FEPS #OnestoWatch programme in Warsaw, co-hosted with Foundation Amicus Europae and Centrum im. Ignacego DaszyΕskiego. The βOnes to Watchβ programme, launched in 2015, is meant to gather a selected group of elected politicians aged between 35 and 45 from those member states that joined the EU respectively in 2004, 2007, and 2013.

The Recovery Watch project, in partnership with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and Institut Emile Vandervelde, kicked off in Brussels on 30 March 2022.
During the one-day exchange, European experts from different policy fields contributed to the four focus areas of the project: EU Governance, Climate Action, Digital Investment, and Welfare
Measures.
The meeting was the occasion to discuss the upcoming policy studies, share insights on national recovery plansβ measures, and identify data sources, methods, and recommendations. More info

entire product life cycle into account.

The war in Ukraine and the future of EU enlargement
The former EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Ε tefan FΓΌle and FEPS Secretary General LΓ‘szlΓ³ Andor analyse the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the consequences for the EU, arguing that the common answer given by the member states will eventually make the EU stronger.
They also discuss the future of EU enlargement and what could potentially change in the accession process.
