2022 marks the 11th edition of the Korčula School Think Tank. The programme was designed to discuss political, economic, social and cultural aspects of gender equality, as well as women’s political leadership in the broader context of social democratic and progressive politics. Regional political, economic, and social developments are high on the agenda from the perspective of social justice, equality, and solidarity.

The Korčula School has become a recognised regional Southeastern European event that focuses on progressive and social democratic policies to promote gender equality.

It is designed to be a unique political, ideological, free-thinking space for a substantive and forward-looking exchange of views on critical ideological and political issues on transforming politics to promote gender equality. It formulates recommendations and specific proposals to policymakers of progressive political parties for further political action on gender equality.

This event brought together progressive political leaders, experts, political activists and feminists, especially from Southeastern Europe to discuss gender equality issues. It took place in Korčula (Croatia) from 25 to 26 August 2022.
